Holiday Homes Tour Announced By The Home Builders Association Of Greater Austin

On weekends throughout December, the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin (HBA) is hosting a holiday homes tour that will be FREE to the public. The tour will include new home models decked out for the holiday season in Austin, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Leander and Liberty Hill. There will be a soft opening on November 30, with the tour officially kicking off in conjunction with the City of Leander Tree Lighting on December 7.

Participating builders include Chesmar Homes, David Weekley Homes, Drees Homes, Highland Homes, Lennar, MileStone Community Builders, Toll Brothers and William Lyon Homes. Additionally, Taylor Morrison will preview two homes, including the 2019 HBA Benefit Home, which will benefit HomeAid Austin.

“We’re excited to showcase 16 new homes in this debut winter event. The Holiday Homes Tour allows home shoppers to enjoy touring new homes specially decorated for the holidays” said Vaike O’Grady, HBA Chair of Special Projects and Austin Regional Director for Metrostudy-Zonda. “Builders also win – by partnering with the HBA, they are able to leverage their marketing dollars to help drive home shopper traffic.”

Each home on the tour will feature its own holiday-themed décor in addition to the best in residential home design. This family-friendly event is a great way to get into the holiday spirit with fun incentives at each stop including opportunities to vote for different awards.

“The HBA is thrilled to bring this festive event to the Austin metro area,” said HBA CEO Carrie Ciliberto. “We hope visitors will be inspired by both the creative decorations and the newest trends in design and architecture at each home. An app for the tour will be available for download, featuring information about each home and builder, as well as an interactive map of all participating homes.
