Hurricane #Harvey Benefit Concerts Happening Around The State….Find One Near You

Texans have answered the call to help their fellow Texans in large numbers. The Texas Music Office (TMO) has heard from hundreds upon hundreds of acts that have volunteered to perform at various Hurricane Harvey Benefit Concerts around the state.

Texans have answered the call to help their fellow Texans in large numbers. The Texas Music Office (TMO) has heard from hundreds upon hundreds of acts that have volunteered to perform at various Hurricane Harvey Benefit Concerts around the state.

TMO has released the following list as of September 11, 2017 of acts to Texas venues and event promoters.

Likewise, TMO heard from multiple event promoters, bands, and folks from towns big and small, all around the state, that wanted to help all those affect by Hurricane Harvey by putting together a benefit concert.

The Texas Music Office is currently working with event producers around the state who are planning benefit concerts for all those affected by the massive devastation of Hurricane Harvey. They are actively partnering with a few benefits, and encouraging others to donate to RebuildTX.org.

• If you have a benefit concert already planned, please submit that event info to music@gov.texas.gov with “HURRICANE HARVEY Benefit Concert” in the email’s subject line.
• If you are an artist or band that is interested in volunteering to perform at an upcoming benefit concert, please send serious inquiries to music@gov.texas.gov with “INTERESTED IN PERFORMING at Hurricane Harvey Benefit Concert” in the email’s subject line.

We will use our social media channels, and work with Texas media, to help publicize the upcoming music-related benefit concert info to the public. 

Although some benefit concerts are already scheduled to begin, we anticipate many more will take place after the flood waters subside.
