Hurricane Harvey Rainfall Totals For Hays County

While the county may have missed out on the historic flooding experienced in La Grange and Austin, some Hays County communities received as much as ten inches over Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

 

Hurricane Harvey, which has been reduced to a Tropical Depression, has moved on since making land fall on the Texas coast last Friday.

In some areas, Harvey dumped over 20 and 30 inches of rain causing massive flooding along the Lone Star coast. Currently, the storm is over Louisiana leaving communities under tornado warnings.

San Marcos and Hays County officials are still organizing aid and relief efforts to send south to areas such as Houston and Corpus Christi.
