The Texas Department of Transportation will close the north and southbound travel lanes of I-35 at Yarrington Road overnight on June 6-9, 2016. The northbound lanes will be closed on Monday and Tuesday nights and southbound lanes on Wednesday and Thursday nights, from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Drivers will be detoured to the frontage road at the closest exit, and returned to the mainlanes at the next available entrance ramp. This closure is weather permitting.
Crews will be hanging concrete beams during the overnight hours for the remaining two bridges for Yarrington Road at this location.
Road signs will be placed alerting drivers of the closure. Motorists should allow extra time to travel through this area during the affected hours, and consider alternate routes as needed. TxDOT asks the traveling public to be patient and remain aware when traveling through the work zone.
