Choosing your Medicare Benefits for 2017 – Informational Seminar

Topics will include: Choosing a Medicare Provider, Using Your Prescription Drug Plan, Medicare/Supplement vs Medicare Advantage and Medicare Changes coming in 2017

Join us for the first of three informational seminars hosted by San Marcos Parks and Recreation. The free sessions are sponsored by Comfort Connection / Nurses Unlimited and presented by VeeCee Spear, Tami Martin and Keith S. Leuty. Each seminar will take place at   2 p.m. at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins

 

AARP Foundation Finances 50+: October 12, Oct. 26 and Nov. 9

 

AARP Foundation and Charles Schwab foundation believe that everyone can benefit from smart money habits.  That’s why we are offering AARP Foundation Finances 50+.

This is a three-part financial capability program designed to motivate and empower participants to take charge of their financial future. The program assists individuals to make objective assessments, set appropriate goals and establish habits and behavior that will help them thrive.  The sessions will give you a good handle on where you stand financially, plus simple, hands-on ways to make measurable progress toward your financial goals.

The free workshop series, sponsored by San Marcos Parks and Recreation and hosted by Lena Clark will be held at the San Marcos Activity Center on Wednesdays Oct. 12, Oct. 26 and Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. – noon.  For more information, please visit www.aarp.org/finances50plus  or call 512.393.8400.
