John & Chloe Navarrette To Be Honored At Stars Of Texas Gala

SAN MARCOS, TEXAS – The 24th annual Stars of Texas Gala, taking place on Sunday, October 23, will pay a special tribute to faithful community philanthropists John and Chloe Navarrette.

John Navarrette, a long-time community business leader, has served on the CTMC Foundation Board for more than 20 years. Chloe was a founding member of the CTMC Women’s Council, an organization that provides funding to non-profits serving women and children in Hays County. The Navarrettes have maintained an inspiring record of volunteerism and financial support of the CTMC ministry, Texas State athletics and many other worthy causes throughout Hays County and beyond.

“It is a privilege to honor John and Chloe at this year’s gala,” said CTMC Chief Executive Office Anthony Stahl. “Their continual generosity of time and resources has made this hospital and the community at large a better place.”

The event will kick off at 5 p.m. at Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa and Conference Center in San Marcos. In addition to gourmet dining and a unique silent auction, this year’s gala will feature entertainment by The Bellamy Brothers. The American pop and country music duo first emerged in 1976 with their single, “Let Your Love Flow,” a No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. They later found success in country music, charting 20 No. 1 singles and more than 50 hits overall on the country charts.

Each year, the Stars of Texas Gala supports service and technology expansions that keep Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) on the leading edge. This year’s proceeds will benefit the Ingram Heart Center at CTMC.

Tickets to the Gala cost $200. To purchase tickets, or for sponsorship information, visit ctmcgala.com.
