Join Austin Animal Center For Game Of Homes Adoption Event

Game of Homes Comes to Austin Animal Center… Prepare yourself. Friendship is coming…

Join the Austin Animal Center for the Game of Homes adoption event, this Saturday and Sunday, April 13 and 14 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Adoption fees will only be eight dollars for all dogs, cats and rabbits currently living at the shelter, as we anxiously away the eighth season premiere of HBO’s Game of Thrones.

This will be your chance to meet Rabbit Baratheon, Mother of Puppies, Kahl Dogo, Samwell Tabby, the Lannipurrs, Arya Bark and more!

In addition, on Saturday the 14, AAC will be joined by The Barony of Bryn Gwlad, a local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., bringing authentic Middle Ages and Renaissance characters to mix and mingle with adopters. Make sure to stick around for an epic battle on the shelter front lawn as the group duels for the Iron Bone! *weather permitting*

The Animal Services Office operates the Austin Animal Center, and is home to the largest No Kill community in the United States. They provide shelter to more than 17,000 animals annually. With a goal to provide a safe place for lost and homeless animals and to educate the community in order to prevent animal homelessness and promote compassionate treatment of animals and responsible pet ownership.
