She also brings over 29 years of government finance experience in Florida, Texas, and New York including 25 years of progressive financial experience in Broome County, NY.
“I’m excited to move back to Texas and to be part of a growing and vibrant community like San Marcos,” said Kalka. “I am honored to have been selected and look forward to serving the residents of San Marcos.”
Kalka is a member of the Texas Government Finance Officers Association, the Texas Municipal League, and has completed extensive FEMA Incident Management training.
