The Benefit Concert for Victims of Iconic Village Fire & Families of the Deceased raised a total of $2,509, in addition to the $5,250 donated to the online fundraiser prior to the event. The benefit brought in a large amounts of supplies and donations for anyone who was displaced by the fire.
The money raised at the benefit concert came from suggested donations for admission, donated art auction by local artists, and donations for food and drinks. The donated supplies for the survivors includes clothes, food, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, kitchen and school supplies.
The Texas State organizations who helped make the event possible were KTSW 89.9, S.C.O.P.E., University Star, Queer Cats, Latinas Unidas and Texas State United Campus Ministries.
