The Kyle City Council will consider several rezoning requests Tuesday during their regular meeting.

According to the agenda, 101 Sunflower Circle is an undeveloped parcel of land that previously had a single-family residence on the site prior to hays County purchasing rights-of-way for the Dacy Lane Widening project.

Retail Services district allows general retail sales of consumable products and goods within buildings of products that are generally not hazards and are commonly purchased and used by consumers in their homes.

These options include:

  • Clothing
  • Prescription drugs

  • Toys
  • Hardware
  • Electronics
  • Pet suppy
  • Variety
  • Department
  • Video rental
  • Antique stores
  • Art studio or gallery
  • Hoppy shops and florist shops

On Jan. 12, the planning and zoning commission voted 6-0 to recommend approval of the request, and staff is recommending its approval.

The council will consider rezoning approximately 5.87 acres of land as RS for property located at 1400 E. RR 150. This request was also approved by the P&Z Commission 6-0.
