KYLE, TEXAS – The Kyle Police Department is investigating a drug-related homicide that occurred on Dusky Thrush Drive in the early morning hours of Saturday, Dec. 19.
At approximately 1:50 AM Saturday, Kyle Police officers responded to the 100 block of Dusky Thrush Drive for a report of a gunshot. Upon arrival, officers found the body of Christopher L. Trevino, 19.
The alleged shooter fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
Investigators were able to locate the suspect a short while later at an apartment complex. He is identified as a 15-year-old male from Kyle.
He was processed into the Hays County Juvenile Detention Center on multiple charges including Murder, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Tampering with Evidence, Deadly Conduct, Unlawful Carry of a Weapon, and Illegal Discharge of a Firearm.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
