Kyle City Council, please hear the voices of your community and vote no to zone Yarrington Road area near San Marcos as a warehouse district!
Seems Kyle may still vote to change zoning at Yarrington and IH35 to “WAREHOUSE”. Kyle Planning & Zoning Commission recently voted 5-2 against such a plan. So why would Kyle give it a thumbs up? Power struggle? Politics? Bad taste? More? Bottom line, a warehouse district on the northwest corner of Yarrington and IH35 will be the first thing we and visitors see when entering the “realigned” FM150 heading to Dripping Springs. It is also within spitting distance of Blanco Vista, a lovely neighborhood just south of the site but in the San Marcos limits. Not Kyle’s problem? Neighbors and neighborhoods have no physical barriers between them. Litter travels indiscriminately with the wind. Let’s help one another.
PGI Investments (look them up!) wants a 220-space truck stop on the site. But “WAREHOUSE” zoning permits other businesses as well.
Kyle City Council meets on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2 @ 7:00 PM. If you can help with the body count, please attend!
