Local Businesses Start Fundraiser To Help Those Affected By Wimberley Fire

On Tuesday morning, a fire destroyed the Cypress Creek Café.

No one was injured, but owners, Randy and Trish Uselton, lost their business, their home and their two cats and their dog in the fire.

Ozona Bank has set up a GOFundMe page to help the 54 employees affected by the incident. Donations are also being accepted by checks, which can be made out to Burning Love and dropped off at any Ozona Bank location. As of Wednesday morning, the page had already raised $11,584 of its $20,000 goal.

The mailing address for Ozona Bank is P.O. Box 528, Wimberley, Texas 78676.

Checks, gift cards, and encouraging notes are also being accepted at Wimberley Ace Hardware, 14307 Ranch Road 12, Wimberley, Texas 78676 and at Wimberley Valley Radio, 111 Old Kyle Rd., Suite 108, Wimberley, Texas 78676.
