Local Microbrews to be Featured at Brew Hop April 1

 

The San Marcos Main Street program has released the list of microbreweries to be featured at the first ever Brew Hop craft beer tasting in downtown San Marcos on April 1, 2016.

Among the list are three downtown microbrews and more from the Central Texas region. The full list of microbreweries includes:

 

• Homebrew Supply

• The Root Cellar Café & Brewery

• Sean Patrick’s Pub

• Middleton Brewing

• New Braunfels Brewing Co.

• Twisted X Brewing Co.

• Seguin Brewing Co.

• Darkside Fermentation

 

The Brew Hop is the newest addition to the 24th annual Swing on the Square festival weekend event April 1-3, 2016. The microbrew tasting will take place from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Friday, April 1.

 

Craft beer enthusiasts will start their journey at Kissing Alley, 119 E. Hopkins St., and hop along 12 downtown shops, all featuring local microbrews and paired food. Tickets for the Brew Hop are now on sale for $25 each at www.smtxswingfest.com and include a commemorative event glass, craft beer tastings, food, entertainment and more.
