Local Pharmacy Designs Programs To Help Patients Afford Medications

A local business is working to develop an affordable medication option for the San Marcos Community during the current health crisis.

MedPark Pharmacy is aiming to help individuals who need assistance meeting their medication needs whether they’re uninsured, underinsured or insurance isn’t covering it.

The local pharmacy offers extended-day supplies of generic medications and other commonly prescribed medications and a $5 antibiotic program for the commonly prescribed antibiotics.

“We want to accommodate major concerns that the patient population in today’s climate – affordable medication – and the ability to get extended day supplies beyond what traditional insurance plans allow.  Pricing and quality will always be a primary concern to our patients,” said Robert Record, PharmD – Owner.
