SEGUIN – If you love books, music and art, then you won’t want to miss the Lone Star Festival happening from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, May 29 at Central Park in downtown Seguin.
The Lone Star Festival is being held during Texas Authors Month, a time to celebrate and support Texas authors.
The festival will feature a variety of vendors, live music, artist demonstrations and readings.
Banjo-playing author Curt Locklear kicks off the music performances at 11 am, followed by singer-songwriter Lorrie Praise at 1 pm. A variety of Texas authors will also perform live readings throughout the festival.
All funds raised at this event benefit the Texas Authors Institute of History, a nonprofit preserving the rich history of Texas Authors while inspiring future writers.
