Main Street Hosts Wine And Art Weekend Beginning Friday
 
 
Join The San Marcos Main Street Program, Art Squared, and San Marcos Art Advocates for Wine and Art Weekend, hosted April 10-12 in historic Downtown San Marcos.
 
“Seasoned wine walk participants as well as new attendees will be surprised by the talent and fun we have incorporated into this event,” said Samantha Armbruster, Main Street Program Manager. 
 
The three-day arts and entertainment festival will begin Friday, April 10, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., continue on Saturday, April 11 from 3 to 6 p.m., and will wrap up with a Jazz Brunch on the Courthouse Lawn on Sunday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to noon.
 
The event will include works by featured artists hosted inside downtown establishments with wine tastings, paired hors d’oeuvres, live art demonstrations, and hands-on activities for everyone to enjoy. The Art Squared Arts Market, which features more than 50 local artists, will be highlighted at the event. Participants will also receive a commemorative wine glass and be able to enjoy live entertainment on the streets.
 
Tickets are $30 in advance for a weekend pass, or $20 each for Friday or Saturday.  Tickets for Sunday’s Jazz Brunch are $7 each.  Check-in will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 10, on the Hays County Courthouse Lawn.  This event is for attendees 21 years old and up.
