Tickets are now available for the Main Street Sip & Stroll to be held in Historic Downtown Buda on Friday, May 10, from 6:00 – 9:00 PM.
This event is presented in partnership between the Buda Downtown Merchants Group and Buda Main Street Program.
Three-hundred and fifty tickets will be available for this exciting evening. This event is 21+ only. To purchase tickets, please visit www.budasipandstroll.com.
This year there will be a Kentucky Derby theme and the event will highlight 16 of Buda’s locally owned shops and spaces on Main St. from Old Town Buda to Buda Mill & Grain Co.
Ticket holders will stroll through downtown shops tasting a variety of spirits, along with sampling menu items from some of downtown’s partner restaurants.
Ticket purchases also include a commemorative glass, downtown tote, entertainment, transportation and more.
The Sip & Stroll event was first introduced to Downtown Buda during Budafest in 2017 and has become a bi-annual event each year.
“This event is great way to support local businesses, get to know your neighbors, and explore downtown,” said Maggie Gillespie, Main Street Program Manager. “Each stop will feature something different to taste. Some stops will have wine, others beer and some will even have spirits. Stops are also encouraged to partner with local restaurants to offer a taste of some of the restaurants favorite menu items. A true taste of Buda in historic downtown.”
In addition to stops on Main Street, the event will include additional stops on Railroad St., Cedar St. and San Antonio St. to create a full downtown experience.
Businesses will offer sales and discounts, along with some in-store activities that evening. Participants will be able to vote for their favorite stop along the route to add to the festivities of the evening.
