As you may have noticed, construction crews have been hard at work adding a new ramp and modifying five existing ramps between RM 150 and the Blanco River.
As we enter the final stages of construction, TxDOT will begin opening the northbound ramps Monday, June 19 through Friday, June 23, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., weather permitting.
On Monday night, June 19, crews will open the new northbound Yarrington Road exit 213 ramp, located 1.6 miles south of Yarrington Road. The existing Yarrington Road ramp will be permanently closed.
On Wednesday night, June 21, the new northbound FM 150 exit 213 ramp, located 0.2 miles north of Yarrington Road, will be open to traffic. The existing FM 150 ramp will be permanently closed.
On Thursday night, June 22, the new northbound I-35 entrance ramp, located 0.5 miles north of FM 150, will be open to traffic.
Lane closures will be required in the area of the ramps to complete the switches on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights.
Construction of the $9 million enhancement project began in April 2016 and is anticipated to be complete this summer, weather permitting.
We appreciate your patience while these much-needed improvements have been under construction.
