Man Accused Of Sexual Assault In Downtown San Marcos Bar Indicted

On Dec. 6, 2016, a woman reported she had been sexually assaulted at the Green Parrot Bar in downtown San Marcos.

The suspect in a sexual assault case from December 2016, has been indicted for aggravated sexual assault and aggravated assault with a deadline weapon.

The incident to occurred early in the morning on Dec. 6, 2016, at the Green Parrot bar in downtown San Marcos. Christian Clayton, 23, was arrested on Dec. 24, 2016, and charged with sexual assault.

The victim told police her attacker bit and slapped her. The Hays County District Attorney’s office later raised the charges from sexual assault to aggravated sexual assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
