The 4th of July Celebration follows a full day of activities for the whole family at Spring Lake.
Independent Day Family Fun Day celebrates independence with crafts and activities for everyone. All of the events are nature themed and are partly funded by the City of San Marcos. The event runs from 11 AM to 3 PM.
The 4th of July Celebration program will include Sunset Glass-Bottom Boat Cruises from 7:30 to 8:30 PM and a Fireworks viewing party on the Meadows Center rooftop from 8:30 to 10:30 PM.
Interested parties can hop aboard a historic glass-bottom boat to enjoy the sunset over Spring Lake. Visitors will be given the opportunity to see the aquatic wildlife that emerges after sunset.
Afterward, visitors can head upstairs to the center’s roof to watch the San Marcos Fireworks Show. Snacks and refreshments will be available.
Those interested in the rooftop viewing can either purchase the glass-bottom boat cruise and receive a complimentary spot or purchase a ticket at the door. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
For ticket prices and more information, check out the July 4th Celebration at Spring Lake page on the Meadows Center’s website. Tickets can be purchased here.
