Men’s Basketball To Hold Student Tryout

No late forms will be accepted.

San Marcos, TexasThe Texas State men’s basketball team will be holding a student tryout on Monday, October 2 from 6-7:30 p.m.

To tryout, students must download the forms below by clicking the link, fill them out and submit to the men’s basketball office by the end of the day on Monday, Sept. 25. No late forms will be accepted.

In order to tryout, a student must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a full-time student (minimum 12 hours during the Fall 2017 semester) at Texas State University.
  • Must hold and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5

All must have the following documents submitted by Monday, Sept. 25.

  • Student-Athlete Tryout Form
  • Fall 2017 class schedule
  • Copies of all college transcripts (if applicable)
  • Athletic Training Documentation for Student Tryout Form
  • Records of physical within the past six months
  • Medical history questionnaire
  • Copy of insurance card (front and back)
  • Signed Non-Scholarship Athlete Insurance Agreement Form
