Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from Corridor News!

Sierra Martin | Managing Editor

San Marcos Corridor News wants to wish all our readers a happy holiday season and a Merry Christmas!

Here is a special message from our new Managing Editor, Sierra Martin.

This year I got into the Christmas spirit early by attending the San Marcos Sights and Sounds Festival and participating in the Jingle Bell Run. Seeing the city lit up with lights from the top of the Ferris Wheel and watching kids run through the Christmas displays was enough to even get the Grinch in the holiday spirit!

I also bought a full-sized live Christmas tree this year for the first time, and I loved watching it fill up with presents underneath.

My cats also enjoyed batting the ornaments off the tree and chasing them around the house. If they didn’t look so cute doing it… I would have stopped them!

Some Christmas traditions that my family always takes part in are making homemade cookies and leaving one out for Santa with a glass of milk. We also always open one present on Christmas Eve, because we can’t wait to share the gifts we got with our family.

I want to extend a holiday cheer to everyone who makes San Marcos Corridor News possible; our readers, generous advertisers, interns, previous Managing Editor and our current website developer Terra Rivers, and devoted publisher Melissa Jewett!

The holidays are always a time where I look forward to seeing family. I hope all our readers have a happy and safe holiday season and can see family and friends.

After the past few years, we have had, everyone should take this time to be merry and celebrate the people in their lives and make the most of the holiday season.

Please share your Christmas and holiday traditions with the Corridor News family and our readers in the comments!

Happy holidays, – Sierra Martin
