This is Miller Middle School’s third consecutive year to have a Sweepstakes Choir. According to choir director Mario Contreras, Sweepstakes is the highest score a choir can make in the UIL competition.
Contreras said, “I am beyond proud of these hard-working, talented, and smart young ladies. They blew the judges away. One of the judges even asked for a recording of the choir in their notes. Congratulations and a well-deserved trophy for all of my students’ dedication to our choir program here at Miller.”
