Mochas & Javas to Host Healthscare Author for Book Signing March 26

Mochas & Javas on Wonder World Drive will welcome local author Clay DeStefano to talk about and sign his debut book, “HealthScare: Confessions of a Hospital Spin Doctor” on Saturday, March 26 from 1 – 3 p.m.

“HealthScare” delivers an unflinching look at the state of modern health care by employing a punchy and engaging style to make its contents accessible to anyone in need of health care before they take the leap.

DeStefano spent 30 years as a hospital public relations professional building goodwill and the bottom line for three of the nation’s largest health systems. His book, which was published in November , 2015 by Archway Publishing, a division of Simon & Schuster, has already received more than a dozen 5-star reviews on Amazon.com. One recent reviewer remarked, “Why this book isn’t being discussed on all the morning talk shows is baffling.”

DeStefano shared he is thrilled with the praise.  “I want my readers to go away better informed, equipped and empowered to make better choices” he said.  “I want Americans to wake up, act out and these reviews suggest that those who have read the book are ready to do just that.”

Mochas & Javas was established locally in 2003 and now operates five area locations, including N. LBJ Dr., Wonder World Drive, inside CTMC and their latest establishment inside the big HEB. The book signing will take place from 1-3 p.m. in the Wonder World location at 102 Wonder World Drive, Ste. 406.
