“This particular month we really have something for everyone,” said Clay DeStefano, Price Center executive director. “From children’s art to mature, accomplished works, classic to contemporary, the wide array of work is sure to please many.”

Margaret Adie’s Everyday Treasures, features 23 photographs displayed in the Tea Room that take viewers into Adie’s world of magical, whimsical and amazing images of every day, local flowers and insects. Veronique Hahn’s 14-piece collection of mixed media abstract expressionism, displayed in the historic 1910 Room, allows viewers to imagine familiar landscapes and architectural elements through brightly colored and richly textured works.

Both artists will be present to talk with the public during the Opening Reception for their shows from 6 – 8 p.m.  Guests to the Center will also have the opportunity to the see the porcelain, oil and watercolor works of Joanna Burch in the Main Parlor as well as new works from Bee Friends and the River Valley Porcelain Arts Club in the Center’s main and upstairs halls.  Local artist Christine Terrell also has a small display of her distinctive upcycled tin jewelry in the Parlor.
