Movies In The Park Tomorrow, Summer Schedule

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Division is proud to present the fourteenth year to bring an exciting summer of Movies in Your Park to San Marcos Plaza Park featuring Annie on Tuesday, June 16 at San Marcos Plaza Park (401 E. Hopkins) at sunset. Pre-movie activities begin at 7:30 p.m.

The remaining movies of the 2015 Movies in Your Park series include:

June 23 – Cinderella (2015)
June 30 – The Mighty Ducks
July 7 – Maleficent
July 14 – Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY
July 21 – Goonies
July 28 – Dolphin Tale 2

Bring your friends, family, lawn chairs, and blankets at 7:30 p.m. to enjoy pre-movie activities for youth sponsored by Angel Drops. Movies will begin as soon as the sun has set for the evening. Concessions will be available for purchase from the Association of Recreation Enthusiasts from Texas State University.

The San Marcos Lions Club will provide free vision screening for detecting early signs of some vision disorders among children. Their Spot Vision Screener is similar in appearance to a camera and only takes a minute or less to screen each child. The earlier these condition are caught, the sooner children can be referred to a doctor and possibly save their vision!

The concert series is sponsored by Grande Communications, Walton Development and Management, The Hitch, and Mensor.
