Movies In Your Park Explores The Galaxy With Wall-E

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department will host the sixth movie of Movies in Your Park on Tuesday, July 18. The event will be held at San Marcos Plaza Park, 201 N C M Allen Pkwy.

Pre-movie activities, hosted by Angel Drops and THRC San Marcos, will begin at 7:30 p.m. followed by this week’s Pixar animated film, “Wall-E” at approximately 8:45 p.m.

Keep San Marcos Beautiful encourages members of the community to take part in a “Plastic Buy-Back.” Participants will receive reusable water bottles and shopping bags in exchange for their single use counterparts.

In addition, KSMB will have an interactive booth with games focusing on responsible disposal of waste, specifically how to handle electronic waste.
