Movies In Your Park To Be Held At Airport, Bobcat Stadium

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation department, in partnership with Grande Communications, will continue to host Movies in Your Park through the end of July. This free event is open to the public and features a family-friendly movie each Tuesday evening.
 
On Tuesday, July 19 Inside Out will be shown at the Commemorative Air Force Central Texas Wing, located at the San Marcos Regional Airport, 1841 Airport Dr. Building 2249. The Central Texas Wing hangar houses six CAF aircraft and features a museum. Staff will be on-site to assist with parking.
 
On Tuesday, July 26, Aladdin will be shown at Bobcat Stadium, located at 1100 Aquarena Springs Dr. This will be the final movie of the Movies in Your Park 2016 series. Attendees may park in the lot near the West Side Complex and can enter through Gate 1 beginning at 7 p.m. All attendees are subject to the rules and regulations of Texas State University and Texas State Athletics.
 
Pre-movie activities for both locations begin at 7:30 p.m., followed by the movie at sunset. It is recommended to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Glass, Styrofoam, alcohol, and pets are not permitted. Concessions will be available for purchase from the Association of Recreation Enthusiasts and Kona Ice will be on-site selling snow cones.
