Movies In Your Park To Be Held At Bobcat Stadium

On Tuesday, June 28 Cool Runnings will be shown at Bobcat Stadium, located at 1100 Aquarena Springs Dr. Attendees may park in the lot near the West Side Complex and can enter through Gate 1 beginning at 7 p.m. It is recommended to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Pre-movie activities will begin at 7:45 p.m. and the movie will follow at sunset.

 

Concessions will be available for purchase from the Association of Recreation Enthusiasts and Kona Ice will be on-site selling snow cones. Pets, glass, Styrofoam, and alcohol will not be allowed inside of the stadium. All attendees are subject to the rules and regulations of Texas State University and Texas State Athletics.

 

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with Grande Communications, will continue to host Movies in Your Park every Tuesday during June and July. This free event is open to the public and features a family-friendly movie each week.
