Movies In Your Park To Feature “Little Giants”, More In July

The featured movie, “Little Giants”, will begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. Pre-movie activities hosted by Angel Drops and Texas Health & Racquet Club will begin at 7:30 p.m. 

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department will host the fourth movie of Movies in Your Park on Tuesday, June 27.

The event will be held at Bobcat Stadium, located at 1100 Aquarena Springs Drive. The featured movie, “Little Giants”, will begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. Pre-movie activities hosted by Angel Drops and Texas Health & Racquet Club will begin at 7:30 p.m. 

Gate 1, located between the West Side Complex and End Zone Complex, will open to the public at 7 p.m. Glass, Styrofoam, alcohol, smoking and pets are not permitted at the stadium.

All attendees are subject to the rules and regulations of Texas State University and Texas State Athletics. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Keep San Marcos Beautiful encourages members of the community to take part in a “Plastic Buy-Back.” Participants will receive reusable water bottles and shopping bags in exchange for their single use counterparts.

In addition, there will be a collection of lightly used sports equipment to be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of San Marcos. KSMB will have a booth with information and games focusing on how game days can become more sustainable.

There will not be a movie on Tuesday, July 4 due to the SummerFest Independence Day Celebration. The remaining movies are:

  • July 11 – “Storks”
  • July 18 – “Wall-E”
  • July 25 – “Finding Dory”
