N. LBJ To Close For Parking Space Re-Striping

North LBJ from Hopkins Street to University Dive. will be closed to all traffic beginning at 3 a.m., Sunday, March 19 as City contractors re-stripe parking spaces on the east side of the roadway.

The re-striping will change the parking spaces in the 200 and 300 blocks of N LBJ from back-in parking to traditional head-in parking. The reconfiguration of the spaces comes after a unanimous City Council vote in favor of the change in January of this year.

The roadway will remain closed until Monday morning.

Electronic message boards have been placed at two locations on LBJ to inform motorists of the upcoming closure.

For more information on the project, please call the City of San Marcos Engineering Department at 512.393.8130.
