National Health Decisions Day Talk Set At Price center

Center to offer several free presentations and a documentary about advance directives and other appropriate paperwork to complete for one’s medical and end-of-life wishes.

The Price Center will host a talk on Tues., April 4 at 5 p.m. in its Multi-Purpose Room, to help begin the dialogue. Licensed Clinical Social Workers from CTMC Hospice will speak. Local author Clay DeStefano will read from a chapter about

Local author Clay DeStefano will read from a chapter about end of life decisions from his book “HealthScare: Confessions of a Hospital Spin Doctor.”

In addition, local attorney John Hohn will also be present to offer information about easy, fast and low-cost assistance with preparation and filing a variety of important health-and-end-of-life-related documents.

The workshop is free and open to all.  Light refreshments will be served.

CTMC will conclude its NHCDD efforts with a presentation of “Consider the Conversation: A Documentary on a Taboo Subject” at Embassy Suites San Marcos at 3 p.m. on Wed., April 19.
