New Reserve Deputy Constable Sworn In To Assist Precinct 3

Precinct 3 Reserve Deputy Constable Blair McCall was sworn in by County Judge Bert Cobb, M.D., on Tuesday after the full court gave its approval to creating the new, unpaid position.

“Blair comes to us with a lot of previous experience and has received two awards for saving the life of a fellow officer,” Pct. 3 Constable Darrell Ayres said. “We’re fortunate to have Blair and others like him serve as unpaid law enforcement volunteers for our communities – they have the same training and responsibilities as our paid deputy constables.” He will also assist the County with its new school zone safety program, which will be rolled out later this year in Precinct 3.
