New Year Brings New Programs to Price Center

San Marcos, TX – The new year will bring about several new offerings at the Price Center in downtown San Marcos. From new dance, acting and voice classes, to new Zumba classes to an expanded menu and presence by Euro Café’s Chef Ray in the facility’s Tea Room, the focus on growing multi-generational, healthy activities — including healthy eating — continues in the Center’s efforts to serve a larger portion of the community.

“These newest offerings are encouraging because they’re all the result of different individuals coming to us to make something happen at the Center,” said Clay DeStefano, executive director. “That’s really what the Center’s all about – helping to create opportunities and activities with the community,” he added.

Over the past few months, the Price Center has shortened its name, developed a logo, and, thanks to a matching funds grant from the city’s Main Street Program, installed four new signs at the unique downtown events and activity center.  Final efforts are underway to update the Center’s website and social media platforms as well.
