News Update: APD Investigate Arrests 27-Year-Old Suspect In Fatal Stabbing

Deceased:      Sankirth Gundam, Asian male, (D.O.B. 5-11-92)

Arrested:        Sai Sandeep Goud Kurremula, 27 years of age
 
On Monday, July 18, 2016 at 3:13 a.m., Austin Police Officers responded to a disturbance at the Colonial Village at Quarry Oaks apartment complex. Upon arrival, officers encountered two men attempting to load a male victim into a car. It appeared the male victim suffered from a stab wound to his abdomen. Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services personnel arrived and transported the male to Round Rock Hospital where he later died. The victim has not yet been identified.
 
The suspect has been identified as 27-year-old Sai Sandeep Goud Kurremula, Asian male. He has been booked into Travis County Jail for Murder – 1st Degree Felony.

An autopsy by the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office is pending.
