The TxDOT Austin District is overseeing the design and construction of Oak Hill Parkway. Atkins serves as TxDOT’s general engineering consultant, and Atlas will provide owner verification testing and inspection.
The Austin District plans, designs, builds, operates, and maintains the state transportation system in the following counties: Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Gillespie, Hays, Lee, Llano, Mason, Travis, and Williamson.

Eastbound US 290 reduced to one lane between McCarty Lane and Joe Tanner Lane.
Full closure of eastbound US 290 between RM 1826 and Convict Hill Road. Duration of closure is not to exceed 15 minutes.
Full closure of westbound US 290 between Oak Meadow Drive and Convict Hill Road. Duration of closure is not to exceed 15 minutes.
Continuous long-term closure: The right lane of the westbound US 290 frontage road will be temporarily closed between Mopac/Loop 1 and Industrial Oaks Boulevard.
