Showdown Saloon also gives back to the community by making donations to the Hays/Caldwell Women’s Center, various youth groups and hosting an annual toy drive.
For the month of October, Main Street is proud to present the Downtown Business of the Month award to Showdown Saloon for their longevity as a Downtown business and their contributions to the local community.
Showdown has been a Downtown staple for 40 years and boasts an outdoor seating area perfect for dining, mingling and even parade watching. Showdown is a great place to come together and enjoy a meal or drink made by award-winning head cook, Collin DeStefano. Showdown Saloon also gives back to the community by making donations to the Hays/Caldwell Women’s Center, various youth groups and hosting an annual toy drive.
“Showdown Saloon is a unique and loved destination of Downtown San Marcos,” said Samantha Armbruster, Main Street Program Manager. “Andrew Fox, the general manager, tells people, ‘The Showdown’s not too cool for anyone, and nobody is too cool for Showdown.’ I think that perfectly embodies the spirit of Showdown Saloon.”
Congratulations to Showdown Saloon for their incredible history as a Downtown business and contributions to the community.
