The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department will bring the final Party in Your Park event of 2016 to Paul Pena Park on Friday, Nov. 18 from 6-9 p.m. Paul Pena Park is located at 1209 Crystal River Parkway in the Hills of Hays neighborhood.
Party in Your Park is a series of events that will bring positive attention to the city’s neighborhood parks four times a year. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Attendees will enjoy a fun, safe evening while socializing with their neighbors.
Activities will include Gaga Ball, Mega Jenga, Giant Connect 4, and other yard games. Healthy snacks and refreshments will be provided at no cost. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or folding chairs to sit on if needed.
Party in Your Park would not be possible without the generous support of the community. The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department would like to give special thanks to our Life of the Party Sponsor, Grande Communications.
Details about the 2017 Party in Your Park series will be available soon. If you are interested in getting involved with Party in Your Park or for more information please contact Catherine Marler, Youth Services Coordinator, at cmarler@sanmarcostx.gov or 512.393.8249.
