Party in Your Park Traveling to Mill Street on Nov. 13

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department is celebrating a full year of Party in Your Park events. The next Party in Your Park will be hosted on Friday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. in Mill Street Park, located at 215 Mill Street.

This free event is intended to showcase the hidden gem that is Mill Street Park while giving families the opportunity to enjoy a fun, safe night to socialize with their neighbors.

Activities will include Gaga Ball, giant Jenga, giant connect four, limbo, music, healthy snacks, and much more. Community Action, Inc. of Central Texas and various groups from Texas State University will be at the event assisting with the activities and facilitating some exciting parent-centered shenanigans.

In the past, the event has been hosted at Franklin Square, Conway, Paul Pena, and Dunbar Parks.
The first Party in Your Park of 2016 will be on Feb. 19, 2016 at El Camino Real Park, located at 401 Cottonwood in the El Camino Real subdivision.

Party in Your Park would not be possible without the support from the community and our generous sponsor Grande Communications. For more information on this event, contact Victoria Van de Ryt, Youth Services Coordinator at 512.393.8249.
