Patton Street Closed To Traffic Through End Of December

The City of San Marcos Engineering and Capital Improvements Department began construction on a storm sewer associated with the Victory Gardens Subdivision Improvement Project on Monday, Nov. 30, that will require Patton Street to be closed to traffic from Wavell Street to Knox Street through the end of December.

This is a full street closure and the roadway will not be open to traffic for any reason.

Motorists are advised to use the IH-35 access road and Ellis Street to access the neighborhood on the north side.

Southbound Patton Street traffic should use Roosevelt Street and the south entrance of Guadalupe Street for access to the southern part of the subdivision.

The storm sewer construction is expected to be completed by December 31 for a total of five weeks of construction, weather permitting.

For more information on this project, please contact the City of San Marcos Engineering & Capital Improvements Department at 512.393.8130, EngInfo@sanmarcostx.gov or visit www.sanmarcostx.gov/CIProjects.
