PEC, Johnson City’s annual holiday events & light display opens

JOHNSON CITY, Texas — Searching for the perfect activity to get into the holiday spirit? Look no further than Johnson City’s Lights Spectacular and PEC’s holiday lights display.

Visit PEC’s headquarters and take a stroll under the gorgeous oak trees adorned with more than one million sparkling lights. It’s a real-life Texas winter wonderland!

PEC’s display coincides with Johnson City’s Lights Spectacular, which means the downtown area will also be adorned with lights and bustling with activity.

The annual activities include carriage rides, the lighting of the courthouse, Grinchmas weekend, Santa, and fireworks!

See for yourself a display so dazzling it has been reported that it can be seen from space! Bring the whole family and experience the magic from November 26 through January 2.

Lights will shine Monday through Thursday from 6-11:30 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 6 p.m. to midnight.
