Looking to adopt or foster animals from the local shelter? Here are the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter pets of the week!
Spread the word to help these animals find their forever homes.
Carol (48051565) is a total Hallmark junkie! She’s a hopeless romantic just waiting for her hooman in shining armor to sweep her out of the shelter!
This 32-pound darling leans against you for love and just needs a little TLC for her fur. She has some patchy spots and maybe looks a little rough around the edges, but that’s not her fault!
She’s been alone outside for a while, and she just can’t wait to get to a home and turn on the TV – Rom Coms please! Interested in fostering Carol to help her fur return to its natural glory?

.
Tilt-A-Whirl (47986742) is a funny little boy, isn’t he? He came in with that head tilt, and we think it suits him just fine!
He eats, drinks, sleeps, and plays just like a normal kitty. He would flourish in a home where all residents are gentle with him, as his neck continues to get stronger.
This 2-month-old boy loves attention and head scratches! Give him a cozy blanket, and he’ll be napping for hours.
He’s such a happy boy but isn’t too sure about toys; they move a little too fast for him! You’ve gotta come check him out!
Both pets are available for adoption at the San Marcos Regional Shelter.
To meet our pets, please visit us in person at 750 River Rd, San Marcos, open from noon – 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and from noon – 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
