Looking to adopt or foster animals from the local shelter? Here are the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter pets of the week! Spread the word to help these animals find their forever homes.
Elliot (49233150) is a handsome 5-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier! He likes to spend his time cuddling with his human, playing with other dog buddies, and going on long walks.
Elliot recently finished his heartworm treatment (YAY!), so he will need to take it easy and rest for a few more weeks.
Although he would prefer to rest in the comfort of his new furever home! This smart boy is always ready to learn new tricks, and he’s potty trained. If you’re looking for a 55-pound cutie that will love you unconditionally, Elliot is your guy!
Jade (49556352) is stunning eight-pound cutie with bright yellow eyes! She enjoys roaming around the house looking for small places to take a nap in and finding the occasional hair tie to play with for a while.
Jade is independent and mostly does her own thing, but she likes knowing her human is close by, as well. She is petite and slim, but no worries, she’s not watching her weight. She’ll eat treats like it’s the main entrée! You have to meet this gorgeous 3-year-old girl!
SMRAS has an abundance of unsocial, spicy, and working cats; Visit https://bit.ly/2Je9BzL to learn more. Please consider adopting from SMRAS and help us clear much needed kennel space.
Both pets are available for adoption at the San Marcos Regional Shelter.
All ready-to-go pets (meaning cats and dogs that have already been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped) are $10 until further notice and include spay/neuter, vet exam, vaccinations, a microchip, and 30 days of free pet health insurance.
To meet their pets, please visit in person at 750 River Rd, San Marcos, open from noon – 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and from noon – 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
