Pets of the Week: Meet Fabio & Hueco

Staff

Looking to adopt or foster animals from the local shelter? Here are the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter pets of the week! Spread the word to help these animals find their forever homes.

.

Dog of the Week: Fabio 46886783

We know what you’re thinking. How can a dog as handsome and unique as Fabio end up here?

We have no idea because this guy is just too cute and too much fun! Fabio is an absolute TANK at 64 pounds. He loves toys, running around like a puppy, and getting lots of scratches.

This 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier/Bulldog mix has a goofy personality to match his goofy lip. Don’t worry, that silly mug
doesn’t bother him one bit. He just likes to show off his smile!

.

Cat of the Week: Hueco 48025312

Hueco is such a chonky but healthy, 2-year-old tabby! He is a very gentle boy who doesn’t mind being held.

Basking in the sun, looking out the window at wildlife, and playing with the occasional toy while laying down are just a few things this 12-pound boy enjoys.

If you’re looking for a professional biscuit maker who will give you unconditional love, Hueco is definitely your guy!

Both pets are available for adoption at the San Marcos Regional Shelter.

To meet our pets, please visit us in person at 750 River Rd, San Marcos, open from noon – 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and from noon – 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

Or visit us online at www.sanmarcostx.gov/animaladoptions to choose a pet, fill out an online adoption application, and then give us a call at 512.805.2650 or email animaladoptions@ sanmarcostx.gov to talk about it.
