Looking to adopt or foster animals from the local shelter? Here are the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter pets of the week!
Spread the word to help these animals find their forever homes.
Fang (48820652) is an American Staffordshire Terrier with gorgeous fur and stunning golden eyes. He came into the shelter with his buddy Fog, who has already found her furever home.
Fang may enjoy another low-energy dog at home that he can play and run around with. Although he’s only 3 years old, he is very calm and enjoys relaxing with his two and four-legged friends.
This muscular dude is 58 pounds and loves playing with squeaky toys. He just hasn’t figured out that he needs to bring the toy back to play the game. Come meet Fang today!
Minnie Mouse(48748611) is a Tabby who knows what she wants. She likes catnip, head scratches, and being left alone while she naps.
Minnie is picky about the humans she enjoys the company of, but she’ll let you know if she can tolerate your presence.
Minnie Mouse may appreciate another cat at home that matches her calm energy, but kittens are a strong no. Running and wrestling aren’t her things, but she very much enjoys strutting her stuff and watching the world go by from her window sill.
She’s 6 years old, 16 pounds, and has a sassy attitude. She has so much love to give and can’t wait for the right human to adopt her. Come meet Minnie Mouse today!
Both pets are available for adoption at the San Marcos Regional Shelter.
To meet their pets, please visit in person at 750 River Rd, San Marcos, open from noon – 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and from noon – 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
