Pets of the Week: Meet Graham & Tex

Staff

Looking to adopt or foster animals from the local shelter? Here are the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter pets of the week! Spread the word to help these animals find their forever homes.

Meet Graham – 47751983

Graham – 47751983

Graham is a little shy inside his cage, but once he comes, out he’s Mr. Personality!

This silly 2-year-old Shepherd/Basset Hound mix has been around other dogs here at the shelter and may enjoy the company of a small or medium-sized fursibling in his new home.

He loves running around, jumping over obstacles, digging in sand, and so much more.

This pup is definitely the life of the party once he comes out of his shell! He’s a staff favorite at the moment, and everyone just can’t get enough of this 45-pound shorty. You have to come by the shelter and check out Graham!

Meet Tex – 47911810

Tex – 47911810

If you need a kitten, we aren’t in short supply! We have TONS of kittens available for adoption at the shelter and in foster, just like Tex.

We also have lots of momma cats who are ready to be free of their responsibilities!

Kitten Season is in full swing, and we need your help finding these kitties a furever home or a temporary home. If you’re unable to adopt, consider fostering.

Visit https://bit.ly/3hp6VSk to learn about our foster program or to fill out a foster application.

Both pets are available for adoption at the San Marcos Regional Shelter.

To meet our pets, please visit us in person at 750 River Rd, San Marcos, open from noon – 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and from noon – 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

Or visit us online at www.sanmarcostx.gov/animaladoptions to choose a pet, fill out an online adoption application, and then give us a call at 512.805.2650 or email animaladoptions@ sanmarcostx.gov to talk about it.
