Looking to adopt or foster animals from the local shelter? Here are the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter pets of the week! Spread the word to help these animals find their forever homes.
A boxer that looks like a platypus? Well, why not? Psyduck has a huge head and a very big brain.
He’s 60 pounds of hugs, wiggles, and goofiness! 2-year-old Psyduck was found knocking on doors looking for a new family – he’s definitely never met a stranger!
This heartworm negative boxer mix has that perfect nub tail and leaps around like a (very awkward) deer!
We love this boy, and we know you will too!
Madonna has a striking color pattern and a gorgeous long neck.
She looks like she could give Kate Moss a run for her money on the catwalk!
This beauty has nursed nine kittens (so many, right!?), and now they are ready to be free, and she is REALLY ready for a break!
This lady is one of the best momma cats we’ve seen. She’s patient with other cats and people, she loves attention, and she loves to roam around! Only 1 year old, Madonna has a lifetime to love you and enjoy herself!
Both pets are available for adoption at the San Marcos Regional Shelter.
To meet our pets, please visit us in person at 750 River Rd, San Marcos, open from noon – 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and from noon – 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
Or visit us online at www.sanmarcostx.gov/animaladoptions to choose a pet, fill out an online adoption application, and then give us a call at 512.805.2650 or email animaladoptions@ sanmarcostx.gov to talk about it.
