Looking to adopt or foster animals from the local shelter? Here are the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter pets of the week!
Spread the word to help these animals find their forever homes.
MEET VULCAN (46604132)
Vulcan is the coolest Black-Mouth Cur/Retriever cross! If you’re looking for an adventure buddy, this 2-year-old is your guy! Vulcan loves jumping up to get the rope for a good game of tug of war.
After running around, Vulcan says it’s necessary to cuddle and take a nap! He waits patiently to be leashed, LOVES rolling over for belly rubs, and has tons of fun while still being a medium-energy, easygoing dude. Don’t miss this house-trained cutie; come check him out!
MEET IRIS (47966230)
Iris has such a unique look! Her right eye looks almost totally black, but don’t worry, it doesn’t bother her and she can still see – she just looks extra special!
Iris enjoys catnip, her scratching post, and streeeeettttccchhhinnngggg out on the couch! She is 2 years old, 8 pounds, and the perfect cuddler. She’s here waiting for the purrrfect hooman to come adopt her. Will that hooman be you?
Both pets are available for adoption at the San Marcos Regional Shelter.
To meet our pets, please visit us in person at 750 River Rd, San Marcos, open from noon – 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and from noon – 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
