Breaking: Police Ask For Help Identifying Suspects In Pizza Shop Robberies

The San Marcos Police Department has released surveillance photos in the hope that residents can assist them in identifying suspects in two separate pizza shop robberies that may be linked.

The first incident happened at 11:30 on Sunday, April 16.  Two masked men walked into the Pizza Hut in the 900 block of Bugg Lane.  Witnesses say at least one man was armed with a black handgun and they demanded cash.

The suspects were both described as African-American men, about 6 feet tall, and slender.   One suspect was wearing a gray hoodie pulled up to cover the lower half of his face.  The other suspect was wearing a black shirt and pants with a camo bandanas over his face. They got away with a few hundred dollars, but no one was hurt.

The second robbery happened just after midnight at the Dominos at 350 N. Guadalupe.  Police believe the same two men entered the pizza shop with a gun and demanded money from the register.

They got away with about a $100 before leaving on foot and crossing into a nearby alley.

Anyone who recognizes these men or has information about these crimes is asked to contact the San Marcos Police Department, Detective Michael Casillas at 512-753-2182, or the Criminal Investigations Division at 512-753-2300.
